Enagás Entrepreneurship is the open innovation and corporate venturing initiative of Enagás for investment in and acceleration of innovative start-ups and technologies in the field of energy transition and decarbonisation, with particular emphasis on renewable gases (biogas and green hydrogen), sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, digitalisation and other cleantech projects.

Enagás Entrepreneurship has 12 start-ups in its portfolio and has recently closed the Ingenia Energy Challenge call, an initiative to support innovation projects that promote energy transition and decarbonisation, with 116 registrations received.


Red Eléctrica’s technology company is a pioneer in a technological innovation model to meet the challenges posed by the new paradigm in the electricity and telecommunications sectors. Its aim is to create a diverse and global technological innovation ecosystem.

The Iberdrola – PERSEO International Startup program, to which 70 million euros have been allocated, is aimed at facilitating the group’s access to the technologies of the future and promoting the creation and development of a global and dynamic ecosystem of technology companies and entrepreneurs of the electricity sector. The program focuses on technologies and business models that can improve the sustainability of the energy model by means of achieving a higher degree of electrification and the decarbonisation of the economy.
